One ride segment is required for any trip that originates and ends within metropolitan Honolulu, from the airport to Kahala Mall.
An additional ride segment is required for trips up to 30 minutes outside the defined metropolitan Honolulu area. Each additional 30 minutes of ride time requires another ride segment.
For example, a trip from Ala Moana to Kailua requires 2 ride segments. A trip from Ala Moana to Kualoa Ranch requires 3 ride segments.
Up to 4 unused segments may carry into the following month.
